It all started in 2011 when I started playing TTRPG again after 4 years due to the birth of my son (now the oldest). I fell in love with a TTRPG published here in Brazil called Old Dragon. He was a retroclone (or retrogolem as they call themselves) and with that I was introduced to the OSR movement.
I’ve been playing TTRPG since the early 90’s and like some people, I didn’t really like the new editions of Dungeons & Dragons, so Old Dragon was love at first sight.
That’s when I started a Blog, titled “RPG com Nozes”, where I adapted and created different content for Old Dragon, with time, the blog gained recognition, people liked the material. It was then that I decided to release my first book, called “Ancient Tomes & Forgotten Knowledge”, which presented several optional magic rules, new specializations, alchemy rules, many new spells.
It was in this process that “Nozes Game Studi”o was born and with it we have already published more than 10 titles, all inspired by the OSR movement. Some of our titles are already translated and can be found on our Drive-thru RPG page and on Itch.io, as well as Torches, our quarterly OSR zine, already translated into English.
To present new materials I decided to start the same way I started in Brazil, through a Blog, where I will bring different content to contribute to the community.
Well, I guess that’s it! Sorry for my poor English, one of the goals is to improve it as I produce material in the language.
